Israel's Time of Dwelling Safely Correlates to the Half Hour of Silence!

Revised Date: 9/4/10

The Half Hour of Silence?  As I stated in The Graph, most are convinced the final 7 year period opens up with severe world tribulations. However if you're familiar with my teachings and or The Graph, then you are already aware that I've stated and shown otherwise. In fact, in The Graph, details on this matter are fully explained.  But case in point -- in Rev. 8:1, there is a "silence in heaven" which lasts for about the space of a "half an hour". I clearly show how this verse is speaking of an approximate 6 month period of silence and not 30 heavenly minutes which opens up the 7 year period. This silence is also relative to Israel.

Note: This half hour of silence precedes the 1st Trumpet - to be discussed/addressed later.

Revelation 8:1 (KJV) 1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

It's this approximate or "about the space of" half hour or rather 6 months of silence which opens up the final 7 year period. Now I realize, most of us have been taught Revelation was written in Chronological order and because of such, this makes no sense! In other words, how could Rev. chapter 8 be opening up the 7 year period when clearly the 7 years begins in Rev. 6? Again, without a detailed explanation (as this is explained within The Graph) -- Revelation is not written in Chronological order. Rev. 6 and 8 both discuss the beginning of the final 7 year period.

On page 51 of the Pastoral Version of The Graph I said, "...compare the Seals to the Trumpets. As I stated they were the same events, yet offering different details. I’ve claimed the opening chapters of the 7 year period, Rev. 6 & 7 introduces us to the characters and their plots. Rev. 8 & 9 reveals the additional details and effects caused by these characters and of course their time line."

Please read The Graph for further details and proof of such.

"What is -- "About The Space Of..."

bar.gif (439 bytes)

If you've not read The Graph and believe Revelation was written in Chronological order, then before you continue you'll need to suspend that belief or you'll find no harmony in any of the following.  Let's first start with...

Talking in code - Let me ask you a question. What if you wanted to talk code in code? How would you do it? Or how about this -- let's say you're God and you wanted to talk in code to our children, but keep certain secrets hidden. Now let's say you wanted to specify seasons, times and even approximate dates! Yes, even approximate dates can be derived from God's word as we will see in just a second. No, I'm not suggesting a date for the rapture. Scripture is clear --- no one knows that day nor the hour! BUT scripture DOES offer plenty of other hidden time lines encoded within the word, one of which we're about to study. For instance, the book of Daniel is full of specific time sequences and days relating to such!

Anyhow,...back to speaking in code! We want to specify a year in code. Does it seem reasonable to classify a year as "a day" or "a time" or "an hour"? What if you want to convey a half year? Wouldn't you then chose "half a day", "half a time", "half an hour"? Well, this is the Lords terminology and how He elected to hide and convey various durations of time. However when He inspired John to write The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the Lord added the word "hour" into the His terminology. Thus because of the new usage of this word "hour", the related time sequence of the Trumpets have literally gone unnoticed (until now)!

About the space of - Let me ask another question. Exactly what would you interpret "about the space of" to mean? Obviously "about the space of" is not an exact. Now add into the mix the necessity to convey a specific duration of time, but in a hidden code! No, you're not allowed to plainly talk in commonly used terminology, e.g. month, day, etc. That would disclose your hidden time sequence which in this case, was meant for the "time of the end"!

READY FOR THE ANSWER?!?

Folks, let's talk in code, shall we? Ponder with me one question - Why did the Lord elect to add the word "hour" into Revelation? Why not another word, like moment, second, interval or a host of other similar words? Behind the desk I sit, a large clock hangs on the wall. Did you know one hour is literally comparable to one year? Consider:

The numbers on a clock are 1 - 12.  The months in a year are  1 - 12. One year is identical or easily comparable to one hour! Make sense so far?

Now let's discuss time periods for a sec. We're all aware that there is 30 minutes in half an hour. But what if I wanted to convey a time frame which wasn't exactly 30 minutes? Perhaps 35 or 40 minutes? Would it be reasonable to say, 35 minutes is about the space of a half an hour?

What time is it?

And now?

Using these clocks as a reference, the time on both of these clocks are virtually the same. Yet on the second clock the time is 12:35. However if we were queried on the time, most of us would still say it's "12:30". Wouldn't you? More over, regardless of your choice of wording, no one can refute the fact that the time is approximately or about 12:30. Agreed?

Now look again the second clock. Notice the minute hand?

What month is it?

Scripture harmony - Let's move on to what I believe to be the overlapping time line in the book of Daniel. But before I do, it should be noted that ANYTHING slightly off of 30 minutes really is "about the space of", e.g. whether 33 min. or 36 or even 40, whether 6 1/2 months, 7 or even 8, all of this is STILL "about the space of a half an hour" and accurate terminology by anyone's definition!!

Again, look at the clock. Now if you can see how 35 minutes after the hour, is "about the space of" half an hour, then we can move on.

Calendars - First, is it OK with you if I skip through some of the formalities and simply 'cut to the chase' on some of these issues? For instance, the first thing I'd like you to take my word on is -- biblical prophecy uses a different calendar than that of our own. Suffice to say it uses neither the old Julian or Gregorian. Basically the tally of days in a year is not 365 days. Instead, when it comes to prophetic references, 360 is a yearly tally and months are 30 days per. Let me give you a bit of information, however this will be brief. Note the bold/underlined words...

Revelation 11:2 - 3 (KJV) 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."

Note: 42 months (forty and two months) and 1260 days (a thousand two hundred and threescore days) are synonymous with each other! In other words, tally 30 days x 42 months = 1260 days. Further, 1260 days = 3 1/2 years. Another tid bit, in the next chapter of Revelation, we see John using the same identical phrases and terminology Daniel used!

Revelation 12:14 (KJV) 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Having pointed out that Revelation uses the same time reference as Daniel uses (time, times, and half a time) there's no reason to believe 1 year or 3 1/2 years will be any different in the book of Daniel than it will be in Revelation. If so, then that's contradictory! In other words, why would a particular "time" in Daniel be any different than an elapsed "time" or "half time" in Revelation? Basically - it wouldn't! Bottom line -- the durations of a "time" or "half time" mentioned in Daniel should be identical to Revelation's.

Folks, please trust me when I say there's more, but let's stop here so I can get to the point please? When it comes to prophecy, using the Lord's time table, a year is 360 days. 3 1/2 years is always 1260 days. 7 years = 2520 days.

Are there any other alternatives? Yes there is. Utilizing the Jewish calendar, every 3-4 years the Jews add another month, i.e. an additional 30 days. This is accomplished by adding a second month of Adar. This leaves us with at minimum, to adding another 30 days to our tally to at most, 60 days, effectively bringing the total number of days for 7 years to 2550 days, to no more than 2580 days. However I have a serious problem with the latter, which I'll spare you the explanation of.

Now before we read the below, we must have a working knowledge that the 7 year period encompasses an approximate 2520 - 2550 days. Thus if you're ready, take a look at this section of scripture. Please pay attention to my highlights and underlining.

Daniel 8:9 - 14 (KJV) 9And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land 10And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.  11Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down 12And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered 13Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?  14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Now without diving into the interpretation of all the above, what needs to be understood is only a couple of key issues that's generally uncontested.

The little horn is the Anti-christ

 He has an army (host)

For 2300 days, the Anti-christ and his army trample "under foot" the Lord's army and His sanctuary.

While I understand there are differences of opinion on the Lord's army -- which the saints of God are AND so is Israel, differences in opinion on the daily sacrifice or daily devotions, etc., yet none of these are relevant to the points I wish to make.

The first point I wish to make is this verse or rather one Angel is telling another Angel that the sanctuary will be "trodden under foot" for 2300 days. What is the sanctuary? It's been said by a choice few, this is a heavenly sanctuary. However I see no logical reason to believe those opinions are accurate. There are far more scriptures which point to a physical sanctuary, rather than a heavenly. Thus the majority believe this is the Jewish temple OR at least the location where the holy temple is supposed to reside. Bottom line - at the very least, the Anti-christ and his host will trample "under foot" the Lord's army and His sanctuary for 2300 days.

Having said this, some of you may be attempting to grasp the implications of this and how this would once again change many prophetic scenario's! One major problem -- currently there is no Jewish temple built! But before we address these implications -- how about this? We'll come back to this important matter when we prove whether or not Daniel's 70th week has begun. Is that alright with you?

So the question here is - WHEN does the Anti-christ officially begin his physical aggression on the Lord's army?  Well, we would virtually know the approximate date of his aggression as long as we knew the opening date of the 70th week! Right? Yes, it's really that simple. If we know the opening date of the 70th week, then we can also know the attack on Israel. The problem's been no one's ever had a starting date to work with!

The Precursor to the Trumpets - Israel Returns From "The Sword"

bar.gif (439 bytes)

Israel is now (finally) truly at peace - During the 6 months of "calm" that was arranged between Hamas and Israel on June 18th, 2008, rocket silence was never really achieved. In fact, hundreds of rockets continued to be launched into Israel from Gaza during the term of their agreement. Of course, all rocket fire virtually ceased after Israeli forces went into Gaza and made war with Hamas. Only after this, did Israel truly begin to enjoy rocket silence! Now for the first time in ages, Israel has been dwelling safely!

When did Israel's Half Hour of Silence officially begin? - Here's the deal - Israeli forces launched their attack into Gaza Dec. 26th 08. Israeli forces later completed all phases of their campaign and finished their withdrawal by Jan. 20th. However it seems Jan. 20th was not the starting date of silence and if that's the case, then when was it?

The Definitive Starting Date - to occur after Israel "returned from the sword" (the "return from the sword" is discussed in detail below) and which initiated "the half hour of silence", occurred approximately one year later. Why? My reasoning is this -- IF for the most part the Trumpets are dispersed in one year intervals, just as the celebration of the Feast of Trumpets occurs annually, then why wouldn't the Precursor to the Trumpets be similar? In other words, wouldn't Israel's return from the sword occur approximately one year prior to?? If so, then we must advance on year later to arrive at a starting date.

So, if Israel returned on Jan. 20th, 2009, then one year later is 1/20/10. However does this date carry any significance? Is it a marker of any type? Not really. However one month later is!! Yes, exactly one month and 10 days -- March 2010 begins the Jewish new year! Thus if this is our starting date, then we can expect the 1st Trumpet to sound somewhere close to the Feast of Trumpets!  Very interesting!

Details on the time line of the following 6 Trumpets are located in The Graph.

Here's how we calculate:

First, we must tally the days of Daniels 70th week (the final 7 year period), i.e. that's 360 days x 7 = 2520. Or add a month - 2550 days.

Now we subtract 2300 days from 7 years - 2300 days is the time the Jewish Tempe is trodden under foot.

So if we subtract 2300 from 2520 = 220 Days, i.e. 7 months, 10 days.

Or subtract 2300 from 2550 = 250 Days, i.e. 8 months, 10 days.

Conclusion - After Daniels 70th week begins, for 7-8 months and 10 days Israel is at rest and enjoys silence. Then they're attacked for the remaining 2300 days.

So let's count forward - 220, 250 days, or rather 7-8 months and 10 days from March, 2010.

The below Graph offers a time line of 6 months to 8 months and 10 days.

Time Line

Why 6 months to 8 months and 10 days?? I am not entirely convinced the 1st Trumpet, stated to occur "about the space of an half and hour" or rather 6 months after the final 7 years begins, is identical to Israel's attack to which Daniel refers. In other words, there could be two different wars (attacks). One at the First Trumpet, approx 6 months in -- effectively removing or severely crippling the United States, Israel's only worthy ally. Then another attack/war on Israel, that is after the US is crippled occurring approx 7-8 months and 10 days into the week.

Of course, the First Trumpet could also be on the same day as the attack on Israel which Daniel mentions. As I said above, 7-8 months and 10 days is still about the space of a half an hour. Further as mentioned above, if you're restricted to talking in code, i.e. an hour or half an hour, even if the event occurs at approx 8 months in, because it's closer to a half an hour than it is to an hour, you're honestly left with stating something like, "about the space of a half an hour". Further, if your choices are either "hour" or "half an hour", because it's not closer to an hour, half an hour is your only remaining choice. Make sense?

Note: The remaining Trumpets and their corresponding times to which they sound, are outlined in The Graph.

Examining The Precursor To The End -- Israel Now Dwells Safely

bar.gif (439 bytes)

Israel's Time of Silence - OK, so is it possible to tie Israel's time of dwelling safely (their time of silence), to Israel's recent return from war? Please pay attention to the below wording in bold/underlining/ and (my notes in colored parenthesis) that's of importance as we tie in Israel's recent war w/Gaza to Ez. 38.

By the way, I should point out, many interpret the following scriptures much differently, "...in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword".  Interestingly, I too used to believe (just as many others) this to mean Russia would enter the land of Israel which had returned into its own land having escaped the holocaust. But is that what these scriptures are saying? Let's take a very close look...

Ezekiel 38:1 - 13 (KJV) 1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  2Son of man, set thy face against Gog (Russia), the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,  3And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog (Russia), the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:  4And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:  5Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:  6Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.  7Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou (Russia), and all thy company that are assembled unto thee (the nations listed), and be thou a guard unto them (Russia will be their Ally) 8After many days thou shalt be visited: (eventually God will visit Russia and allies) in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the swordand is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, (Russia & allies will come into the land of Israel which has come back from the sword = WAR, Israel will be gathered and returning from a people which are against/adjacent to the mountains of Israel)  which have been always waste: (Gaza?!?) but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they (Israel) SHALL DWELL SAFELY all of them 9Thou (Russia) shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee 10Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought 11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them THAT ARE AT REST, THAT DWELL SAFELY, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,  12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.  13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

bar.gif (439 bytes)

Are you following this so far? After the point in time Israel returns from the sword, is at REST and then dwells SAFELY, Gog, ALONG with several alliances come down and attack Israel. However, after many days, the Lord will visit Gog and it's allies. This of course will be the Day of the Lord as described in latter portions of Ezekiel. Before proceeding, let that sink in! BEFORE attacked, Israel is dwelling safely and at rest!  Let's continue -  bar.gif (439 bytes)Ezekiel

38:14 - 16 (KJV) 14Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel DWELLETH SAFELY, shalt thou not know it 15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army 16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days,..."

bar.gif (439 bytes)

Now I realize some of you are saying, "Don't these scriptures pertain to the ending of the week??" Well if so, then let me ask you this -- didn't we just read in Daniel that the holy city and temple would be under siege (trampled under foot) for 2300 days, i.e. 6 years, 4 months? Well if that's the case, then how can Ez. here be saying Israel will be "dwelling safely and at rest" prior to the end? That doesn't make any sense. Daniel's clearly said the holy city is pounded for 2300 days. Further, 2 Thes. 2 states the anti-christ himself will be sitting in the temple declaring himself to be God, which we know this will occur in the midst of the week. So Ezekiel can't be telling us (here) that Israel will be at rest and safe just prior to the ending of the 7 year period. That's a serious contradiction and I believe to be completely inaccurate.

No, the only possible solution avoiding contradiction is that Ez's. reference here of Gog's attack via Russia is the same attack to which Daniel refers. As for Ezekiel's reference to the Day of the Lord, that occurs "after many days".

So bottom line - Gog, along with its Allies (this includes Iran) will attack Israel after it returns back from the sword. Yes, when they are all "at rest" and dwelling safely and it's at THAT point in time Israel is severally attacked and remains under attack for the remaining 2300 days of Daniel's 70th week.
